...playing catch up | Miss B.

...i'm in a constant state of "catching up" around here.

I do apologize for being behind in emails and questions.

I decided against posting the entire session of this beautiful senior, since I no longer offer senior portraiture in my services.  

However, mom booked her daughter's appointment over a year ago (when I was still offering them) and I was happy to finally meet Miss B!

Thanks for your patience as I transition my family into our new home!

Baby C. | PHX newborn portraiture

...after a crazy few weeks i'm finally back to posting sessions!

this session was a bit more challenging because I didn't have my studio available to shoot in.

However, that's what happens when my beautiful niece is born

 -right in the middle- 

of our family's big move!  

I'd just get baby C. settled down when one of the eleven children playing at our home would come tearing through the room.  

 :)

Look at this darling baby girl.

Bright eyes and tons of hair- I made her a hat, special for her session...

but when I saw her gorgeous head of hair, I couldn't bear to cover it up-even for a photo.

all the way down to her ten tiny toes- she's just perfect!

I love the softly peeling feet of newborns (yes I purposely don't edit that out - it's such a fleeting part of that brand new bundle).

I took baby C outside for a few last portraits with two of her sisters.

She loved the 82 degrees and the sound of children splashing in the pool.

I had the above sister as an "assistant" for the first part of our session-

yes, she is going to be a big helper for momma- for sure :)

The H. twins/birthday portraiture

Many will recognize these adorable twins' faces.

I've photographed them since they were newborns swaddled up in blankets.  Each year these sessions get easier.

Their mommy could not have dressed them cuter if she tried!

I adore the whimsical look of these colors with balloons to boot.

Add in jumbo lollipops,

bubbles,

and two beautiful children.

You can't go wrong.

What's funny is that typically Mr. W would give me a run for my money.

Not this year!

He smiled, posed, and melted me with his charm.

I adore Miss V's personality.

She's wise beyond her years and such a little momma,

bossing guiding her brother and flashing her beautiful smile for portraits.

Do they get cuter than these two?

I don't think so!

Happy 3rd Birthday to both of you.

It has been so wonderful to watch you grow.

I love doing first birthday sessions!

This little guy brought lots of smiles and personality...

It seems like that first year flies in the blink of an eye

and marks the milestone of baby to toddler.
