This session was part of my niece's Christmas present-

Being the kind & generous girl she is, she requested her cousins be included in on her portrait session.

Enter four excited girls !

They planned their outfits, start to finish

I took these lovely ladies downtown,

in search of crumbling buildings and fun backdrops.

I love watching them together, 

the giggles in full swing-as always.

I explained to them how we look for that buttery light in sessions,

and we chase it.  

They picked up quickly and offered up their own 

posing & ideas.

I have more photos to add to this session.  Unfortunately,  I'm having major photoshop issues,

so I may just add to this post when issues are resolved.

okay, for real.

How cute, hip and FUN is this "cousins session" ??

 We had more fun than we should have :)

the giggling, skipping and play was nonstop!

 These mommas put together the ensembles

and I LOVED what they came up with.

Even more than that, I adore capturing the relationships between families- especially when that family is 

full of FUN GIRLS!

I see some custom story books, stickers

and funky framed prints coming from this session!

cuz he knew our moms couldn't handle us to be sisters"!

37 bug bites

one old, abandoned "haunted" house

-->5 cousins 

teetering between 

hysterical laughter {and} pure terror

-->4 ticks crawling on us

-->1 lost camera bag

-->1 mysterious animal hissing from a closet

annnnd one flat tire {on a long stretch of two-lane black top}

all have in common?

It won't evah be forgotten, that is for certain :)
We had a memorable, fun afternoon with these five adorable girls!

And in case you're wondering if the session was worth it
-after the extravaganza of misfortunes surrounding our afternoon-
....YeSsS!

I see some wrapped canvases and wall art in the near future!
